Neck Pain Neck pain is a common problem for many individuals especially those who have other conditions as well, such as shoulder and back pain. Neck pain can also be related to spinal injuries and other forms of head or brain injuries. And while it may seem that you do not use your neck as often as you may use your arms or legs, your neck is constantly performing exercises to maintain the weight of your head and control your spine and the rest of you are joining muscles and joints. When your neck becomes strained, you will likely feel it in more areas than one. Neck Injuries Neck injuries can occur in different capacities, either in a car accident or a sports injury. Whatever the cause, we are here to assist you with finding relief and comfort with your neck injury. We know that it can be challenging to perform average or daily activities if you have ongoing neck pain. To remedy this pain, we can provide therapeutic massages, exercises, chiropractic services if your neck pain is spine-related, as well as acupuncture. Neck Strains Neck strains are also fairly common and can occur when you have put too much stress or strain on your neck muscles or you have moved them too quickly. Some of our clients find that they usually have no neck problems regularly, but on the rare occasion that they moved their neck too quickly, it resulted in a neck strain that was incredibly painful and uncomfortable. To reduce the pain of a neck strain, we offer similar services including therapeutic massages to promote airflow and blood flow, as well as reduce swelling and discomfort in the neck muscles themselves. Improving Neck Mobility Ultimately, our main goal is to relieve your neck pain and provide long-term solutions so that your neck pain does not persist or increase over time. If your neck pain has not reduced after a few sessions or becomes increasingly more comfortable, you may have an underlying issue that needs to be addressed by a neurosurgeon. However, most of the time neck injuries and neck strain can usually be addressed with exercises and massage therapy. If you have recently undergone surgery on your neck and want to improve your neck mobility and strength, we also offer rehabilitation services so that you are able to recover safely while also improving the strength and mobility of your neck. It is incredibly important that this is done slowly and gradually so that your surgery can be successful and your pain does not return. |
